The Band
Meet the band! We’re a group of musicians that have been around the block – playing in different bands since the 70’s. We love music, enjoy playing for crowds, and just like to have some fun.
Neil
Guitar & Background Vocals
From Cudahy, WI, Neil plays guitar and performs background vocals. He’s played in several bands and night club show groups over the years from Classic Rock to Surf Music and even an Elvis Tribute band. Neil and Rich have been friends since high school, and played in several bands together (although Rich blames Neil for him not becoming a rock star because Neil always stood in front of him on stage).
Neil’s favorite color is Slate Gray.
Rich
Drums & Vocals
From Cudahy, WI, Rich is our drummer and vocalist. He started playing drums in 1967 and got his first drum set in 1968 from Bel-Air music store in Cudahy. He played in bands all through high school and different show bands throughout the years. Rich always wanted to be a rock star but ended up getting old and gray so he started a new band to match his lack of hair and beard color.
Rich’s favorite color is Gunmetal Gray
Lon
Keyboard, Flute, & Lead Vocals
Originally from Maryland, Lon is our lead vocalist, keyboard, and flute player. He played in several jazz and big-band era groups in the Chicago area. Lon trained in classical music but hates wearing a tux, so now he focuses on classic rock in the Milwaukee area including playing for his church group once a month. Lon uses two keyboards because he has two hands.
Lon’s favorite color is Iron Gray
Scott
Vocals & Guitar
From Kenosha, WI, our vocalist Scott also plays a variety of instruments including guitar and harmonica. Scott showed up at one of our gigs one day and appeared to be having so much fun we invited him on stage to play cowbell. And he’s been with us ever since. We’re not even sure what his last name is, but we do know he loves music.
Scott’s favorite color is Smoke Gray.
Mike
AKA C. C. Kolache
Bass & Vocals
Born and Raised in Northeast Wisconsin, our Bass and Vocalist Mike also goes by C. C. Kolache. He has been playing semiprofessionally since 1979 and moved to the Milwaukee area in 2020. Mike has been known to change basses during the show and from one show to another, so watch carefully!
Mike’s favorite color is Charcoal Gray.
